MARULA OIL: WHAT WOULD YOU PAY?

It's like every other day there's some new all natural, pure oil which is being touted as the miracle oil to cure all your hair and skin concerns. Argan Oil has had a pretty good run for a while now and sometime last year, I began to increasingly hear great things about Marula oil. At the time, the first brand I was privy to was the Leakey Collection which is sold by Sephora. I knew from reading the long list of benefits: rich in antioxidants, anti-aging, extremely high in Vitamin C etc, that I wanted to try it, but I wasn't ready to part with almost $80 to find out.

So it was a little bit of luck, that I spotted a bottle of Leakey collection Marula Oil at TJ Maxx for $29. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and I am in love. My skin feels great and unlike most oils that cause me to breakout, this one hasn't. It absorbs really well, I even wear under my makeup and I don't have a greasy feeling.  The bottle is barely a quarter of the way which tells me even though the full price is a little pricey, it will go a long way. I've started looking into other brands and I'm trying to figure out what if any differences can exist between all these marula brands that insist they use only 100% pure marula. A great tip is to read the ingredients list to make sure the oil is not diluted with other cheaper oils. The list above represent some of the most popular Marula options out there, all with great reviews but at  different price points.
