OLD CITY, NEW DENIM

Coming Home - it’s bittersweet- equal parts bitter and sweet. The bitterness comes from ending a trip, knowing you didn’t get to do or see every little thing you wanted to. Bitter because the trip you planned and waited for so long, the excitement of the unknown, the unpacked for, the unplanned is all over.

But then it is sweet as well, sweetness from that feeling you only get when you know you’re headed home, to sleep in your bed, to stop at your local fruit guy, your every day coffee cart, to walk the streets that you know so well, you’d never need a map.

That’s what coming home (being back in this city) is always like to me and I wouldn’t trade that feeling. It’s as much part of the travel experience. And when I get back, I’ve noticed so many times, even when I get back from a brief getaway that I see the city with a set of different eyes. I have new things I’ looking for- it’s like I get re-inspired to explore.

On those days, you’re more than likely to find me dressed in my walking uniform, a comfy and well fitting pair of jeans. And this is why I love OldNavy, they really know how to make affordable, chic but most importantly well fitting and comfortable jeans. I don’t know why people are surprised when I tell them they're OldNavy.

You really don’t have to break the bank to look and feel good. And feeling good when being a tourist in my city ranks very high on my list. It’s always the little things.
