HAPPY TUESDAY: Blame Labor

I learned 3 things this long weekend.  First, don't say cute dog to a dog you don't know. Had to be one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen, that was before it almost attacked me. Yikes. Second, ironing your clothes is overrated. Just tell yourself it was meant to be crinkly and rock it with pride. I really hate irons. In boarding school, we would fold our uniforms very neatly and place them underneath our mattresses to create the perfectly smooth, with stiff lines as if starched look. Maybe I should try doing that again. Third, the little kid running upstairs really loves life, atleast thats what it sounds like. Up down, jump, rolls on the floor, jump some more, stomp etc. I keep telling myself, its not the little kids fault, he's just experiencing that joie de vivre. Anyhoo, stayed local this weekend, feasted in my neighborhood on ribs at John Brown Smokehouse and enjoyed a movie marathon.

By the way, hope you had a fun Labor Day Weekend.  Sales, End of summer and the West Indian Day Parade... that's what Labor day is about. Hope you indulged in at least one of the 3.
