MY FIRST TIME: POUTINE
Montreal has been a summertime destination for a few years, so it may come as a surprise that I had somehow managed to never try poutine. One of my fave things about traveling is experiencing culture through food and trying the local delicacies and specialties.
Fast forward to this past summer; my insta feed was filled with people sharing and making plans for Montreal’s first ever “Poutine Fest”- and like sometimes happens, FOMO kicked in and I just knew I couldn’t skip this party.
After a few rounds, making sure to hit as many trucks as possible,the hubby and I decided on a sausage poutine (if I could only remember the name of the exact truck).
So- what was the verdict?
I’ll do it again, but sorry to say dear poutine friends- I’m not quite in Love…atleast not yet!!!
