I have to admit that if I hadn’t this summer gone to see Vieux” Farka Touré in Central Park with my mum, I probably wouldn’t have been as eager to give this band a listen.  And now I’m hooked on Malian music.  This band You brilliantly mixes Malian sounds with blues and contemporary rock.
