NOW LISTENING: WYNTER GORDON

You know that feeling when you find out about a new artist or a new song and you wonder why it took you so long to find out about it and why more people aren't up on it. That's exactly what happened with Queens, NY artist Wynter Gordon. She's already written songs for so many other well known artists and she's also had quite a few hits in Australia with her previous album. 

With so much music and so many artists looking to break through, could someone please explain to me why mainstream radio (sound like a politician there, don't I?) insists on playing the same 10 songs. Anyhoo, I guess that's what Spotify, Pandora, LastFm or even YouTube are for; discovering new music.

I'm particular fond of this track below ("STIMELA") and if its any indication of what else she's got in store, then I'll mos def be adding her to my artists to watch list. Also I have no clue what she's saying in chorus but it sounds so beautiful...it reminds me of South African music so I'm assuming it's Zulu, anyone know for sure?

p.s: that mane of hers probably deserves its own entirely seperate convo.
