That was way way too fast. I’m back now and I’m sorting through the boatload of pics and videos I took while in Bangkok and in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Anyone who says you can do Bangkok in a couple of days seriously needs to explain to me how they do that. I’ll be providing detailed recaps over the next few, highlighting my absolute faves, minor letdowns and surprise discoveries. For the most up to date updates, check out my instagram, where I am also loading video (cos video is even better than pics).

In these pics, I am on the grounds of The Siam Bangkok– hands down on my Top 5 list of places I have stayed. There’ll be more on that as well to come. The entire time I was in Bangkok, I really didn’t want to buy anything from a store/brand that we have here in the US. I was very happy to discover Jaspal (a Thai fashion brand along the lines of TopShop/Zara). As soon as I spotted this dress, I knew it was going to be mine. I actually had to go to a second location to find it in my size.

A few housekeeping items, I just announced the winner of the Wyeth Sunglasses giveaway. Don’t fret, if you didn’t win, you can take advantage of 25% OFF using code SIMPLYCYN25. That’s a major deal.

Also, I’ll be sharing a Black Friday Cheat sheet – I know, I know Black Friday can be a bit much, but it’s really the best time to get gifts and to grab those things you’ve had on your wishlist all year long.  So stay tuned.

Hi Cyn, I’ve just discovered your blog as I also stayed at the Oriental Residence and I’m really impressed with your stylish outfits, the fact that you favour local designers and also your videos. I’ve not been doing phone editing, but shooting instead on a DSLR and GoPro and you’ve inspired me to give it a go. Have a great Thanksgiving!
