HAPPY MONDAY: LOVE IN THE CITY
The Big Apple BBQ Fest is a real lovely way to spend summer in the city. Everyone’s out, there’s jazz in the park, there’s bbq and pies and just the best energy you can hope for. Sometimes, if you’re lucky, it’s not humid and a perfect temp for waiting on lines and drinking lemonade on the green.
This year I wanted to capture the scene as much as possible, so I’m just sharing all the many people and faces that were out. I find that when horrible things happen, as they unfortunately and increasingly do, I try to remember the good in people, to remind myself that most people are good and just want happiness for themselves and peace in this world of ours.
Three things will last forever–faith, hope, and love–and the greatest of these is love.
