Pardon the Interruption

It seems we entered some unofficial pact, the hubby and I to eat our way through all pancakes in NYC.  I  have to blame the weather, we don't normally do this much pancake consumption.  I woke up this morning feeling for something a little more exciting than the english muffins and eggs we had at home.
After about 30minutes worth of energy to go through about 15 different places on yelp, before we settled on Le Barricou; yet another BK (Brooklyn) spot.  We had no idea what we just signed up for.  I'll let pictures do the talking.

Actually, the picture does it no justice.  These pancakes are baked in the oven, so they pretty much come out fluffy/risen/swollen, I don't know the right adjective.  Point is, they're massive.   I'm almost certain you need to be a party of 4 to finish these babies. It didn't help that we had also ordered other food. So, you know we couldn't finish it.  The hubby swore up and down that he would not be beaten, but alas- he sadly was.

Nothing sadder than walking away from some really good pancakes because you know you would surely die if you took another bite. Stop by if you dare, but you've been warned.
... and now back to our regularly scheduled...
